Jamaica Mon!

This post has nothing to do with our nieces and nephews, but I hope you enjoy it anyway... Well as most of you know Chris and I went to Jamaica about a month ago for a much needed vacation. I had never been to Jamaica, but Chris had been there ten times doing mission work with the church where he grew up. I told him that since he had been so many times and had nothing but great things to say about the island that he had to take me. We had an amazing time and wish we could live the Jamaican lifestyle here. We pretty much did nothing but sit on the beach and eat! They are so laid back there (except the driving, definitely do not miss that!) I wanted to get a picture of the roads, but I was too busy trying to keep from getting car sick!

Our second night there, Chris surprised me with a private, sunset dinner for two on the beach. It was probably the most beautiful sunset of the week! The picture above is from our walk to our table and the picture in the header of the blog is one our waitress took of us that night. This was my other favorite view of the night:

Since all we did was sit on the beach, we pretty much sat in the same spot everyday and this is what we saw:

Here is a look around the resort:
I will leave you with this, let me know if any of you think you can do what he did!

(If you can't tell, he is doing the limbo under several flaming rods about eight inches off the ground!)

Well I think I am done with my first post! I must say though that it took forever, I hope I get faster and I hope you enjoyed the pictures. It was very hard to pick from the 200+ that I took. Those of you who know my sister Allison can probably tell where I picked up the picture obsession!

p.s. I promise to post about the kids soon!

Welcome to the blogging world!

I started this blog for my sister and brother-in-law because they are the best Aunt and Uncle a kid could ask for. Now I only have 1 of the seven that will surely be featured here, however, I know the feeling is mutual.
Jade has always been blessed to have her NaNat and now her Uncle Chris. I hope they enjoy keeping up with this blog as much as I enjoyed putting it together and will enjoy reading it.
We love you both and can't wait to see pictures from the beach and of the other kiddos. -Love Allison and Jade
