Happy 4th Birthday Grace!!

We celebrated Grace's 4th Birthday several weeks ago, before her actual birthday, and now I am posting the pictures well after her birthday!

Grace's birthday is sort of a marker for Chris and I. She was born very shortly after we started dating. At times it seems so recent and at other times it seems like forever ago (both in a good way of course). I think the only reason it seems so long ago is because so many other babies have been born since then (with more to come)!

Happy (belated) Halloween!!

One of these days I will get better at posting in a timely manner... until then I will keep posting several at once :)


I went to my parents house on Halloween... you know that holiday that was almost a month ago?! Jade was dressed as a "Smartie Pants" and had little packs of smarties sewn on her pants. I thought her outfit was clever, unique, and fitting! As most of you know Jade is a literal smartie pants too. She does so well in school and loves it (she did NOT get that from me or Allison!) She has been correcting me since she was old enough to talk!

Sara, Caleb, and Samantha Jane came over, too. Sara is one of Allison's best friends. This is Samantha Jane, isn't she adorable!
Samantha Jane has the cutest personality and enjoyed playing with the pumpkin and some of Jade's old stuffed animals, but I think she enjoyed the ads from the news paper the most!

I went home when Chris got off work, and we didn't have a single trick-or-treater come to our house. That means I got to eat all of the candy!

7-0!!

Titans are 7-0!! For those of you who don't know, Chris is a HUGE Titans fan, and we were lucky enough to get to go to the Titans game Monday night. They played the Colts which is always interesting because of Peyton Manning and his ties to Tennessee. The thermometer said 45 but what we were feeling had to have been somewhere in the 30's.

We got there in plenty of time to watch all of the players warming up. The three quarterbacks...

Here is a great sign a guy was wearing around his neck, it says "Peyton Pouts" in case you can't read it. He proudly showed it off, especially when Peyton was intercepted... twice!

We had a great time at the game and it was definitely worth the cold weather to see such a great game. Go Titans!

Riley!!

Last weekend Chris and I and his friend Brad went to see one of his best friends in Memphis, Tim and his wife Arinne. They recently had a baby, and of course I couldn't wait to get my hands on him! He is so adorable!!

Riley had a shirt like Brad, so we had to get a picture of them together. Brad is trying to imitate Riley.

We had such a good time visiting and wish we could have stayed longer!
