Ready to Race!

We signed Brynne up for a little race for kids here in town. It is 100 meters, which is a little over the length of a football field. Of course Brynne had to have some running shoes for the occasion! I found these cute little Nike's at Kohls.

She was pretty excited about her new shoes and was running all over the place!

There will no doubt be lots of documention of the race, so expect a post in a few weeks!

Silly Girl!

At some point while we were in Tennessee this summer, Brynne started making funny faces when I pull the camera out. I have NO idea where she picked this up, but it is too funny!

Needless to say Brynne makes me laugh everyday with these funny faces!

Munsinger Gardens

Munsinger Gardens is a beautiful garden here that is free and open to the public. It is right along the Mississippi River and it is mostly shaded by trees, so it has been the perfect spot for an afternoon out this summer. Here are a few pictures from our first trip there in July.

Labor Day weekend we invited our preacher Justin, his wife Amy, and their daughters Allyson and Lauren up to visit. We went to the gardens then had them over for dinner.

This is what happens when you try to get three silly girls to take a picture!

We came across some ducks... We heard a lot of quacking, but mostly from Brynne instead of the ducks, haha!

 

 

 

 

The girls posed really cute by this tree as we were getting ready to leave... By the time we got the cameras out this was all we got!

And of course Brynne couldn't be left out!

 

We enjoy making trips to the gardens and having our friends here. Now that fall is almost here we plan to start making trips out to St. Joseph to see the leaves changing and visiting pumpkins patches and apple orchards!
