Rub a Dub Dub (cont.)

Now that I have some time, I can start/finish blogging about our trip to Tennessee... almost a month ago, oops! It definitely does not feel like we left for TN a month ago! We spent two weeks there and it was definitely not long enough! I felt like we were going, going, going non-stop!! More on that later.

These are some pics from the same bath as the video I posted before. I let her watch the video every now and then and she still has the same reaction, it's so cute!



Brooke and Brynne

Brooke again... It was all hands on deck to keep the twins from trying to stand up and climb out so I didn't get a chance to get a picture of Whitney.

Brynne also got a good ole sink bath in Granny's kitchen sink :) This girl loves her baths!!

As you can see, it was kind of a tight sqeeze for this little chunk!

This picture cracks me up... She just looks so chilled out. Laid back, sucking the thumb, and legs propped up and crossed!

Brynne has become quite the "talker," anybody want to quess where she might have gotten that from?!? :) She has also found her mouth and keeps it moving most of the time. When we were in Tennessee my dad gave me a new flip video camera! It is great to be able to record the silly things Brynne does so I can remember when she gets older!! Thanks Dad!!



This is a new thing she has started doing with her mouth, it's so funny!



This is her gleeful scream, I am pretty sure she like to hear herself talk! Ha ha! You may want to turn the volume down a little on this one :)



She is still really enjoying her baths. I wish I had recorded her in the bath tonight... She was really going to town!!



We have our first non-family member visitor here this weekend! Chris's friend Brad got here today and is spending the weekend with us. We are excited for more visitors in the future, hint hint ;)

6 Months!

Brynne is 6 months old today! That's 1/2 a year!! She is getting so big; we had her 6 month check-up yesterday and she weighed 20 lbs even and was 26 inches. I am pretty sure the length is wrong considering I measured her last month and she was 26 to 26 1/4 inches. She was rather wiggly during that part so I'd say it's a little off... She had to get two shots plus and oral vaccine. She cried and cried and gagged and cried and cried some more with the oral one, then when the time came for shots she didn't even flinch, ha!

I decided to start giving her some "real" food (other than cereal). I made some green beans and let her try them this morning... She was not a fan! She gagged after every bite even after I added some cereal to it, haha!

 

She also got to ride in the cart at Walmart like a big girl today! She cried when I first put her in, but quickly warmed up to the idea! These pictures are after we got home and were taking the groceries up to the apartment (that's why it's not a Walmart cart).

 

I bought one of those shopping cart covers today while at Walmart, so hopefully we can keep some of the nasty germs away!

Brynne has turned into destructo baby lately, haha! She ripped this piece of paper off the pad and did this in a matter of minutes!! She also did this to my list at Walmart! It made it a little difficult to read what I had on there. She also mangled the paper they put over the exam table at the doctor's office!

She is loving her bath seat we brought back with us from our visit to TN, thanks Aunt Allison!

She is sitting pretty well now, so I knew she would like sitting up in the bath!

As long as she isn't too tired, she can sit unsupported for quite a while. If she tries to go for a toy that is a little too far to the left or right she will fall over, but other than that she does pretty good!!

He he!! I thought this picture was funny! She has really started reaching for and playing with toys more. I has caused quite a few face plants though!

All done and getting ready for bed. Nothing cuter than a fat baby in a hooded towel!!

I can't believe 6 months have come and gone! Brynne has changed so much!! I hope the next 6 months will bring us as much joy, fun, and excitement as the first!

Three babies in the tub!

We threw Whitney, Brooke, and Brynne in the bath tonight. Brynne LOVED it!! It was the first time she was able to sit in the bath instead of laying down. Brooke is the one beside her and Brynne thought it was hilarious :)



I have a few pictures too but I forgot my cord, so they will have to wait until we get back to MN.
