Baby Colin

These pictures are of Colin at 6 1/2 weeks. The first one was with my cell phone while he was sitting in my lap so the quality is definitely not great but I think it is too cute!!

These are him just chillin' in his bouncy seat enjoying all the attention!

Then it was bath time, which I hear he loves and that is definitely a good thing. Every child needs a naked bath time picture!

Cuddling with mom after his bath, I absolutely LOVE these two pictures!!!

Look at that little hand hanging on tight.

Time for a diaper and pjs...

That's all for now!

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday Allison had an Easter egg hunt at her house, there were lots of kids and lots of family that made for a great time despite the cool weather!! I had a hard time narrowing down the pictures in this post and the next so there are lots of pictures and not a lot of words (I'm sure you don't mind:) ). The first four pictures are from Allison's blog.

The traditional bunny cake made by my grandmother.

The yummy cupcakes made by yours truly!

Allison set up a table where the kids could decorate their own cookies and not have to worry about being messy!

All of the kids ready to take off...

My cousin Jasmine showing off her Easter basket (she is ALL girl)!!

Grace on the move to find some eggs-

I think she hit the jackpot here!!

Ben was moving quickly too!

He had just enough time to stop and show me one of his findings...

Grace in the foreground, Samantha Jane and my cousin Cora-Sioux and the back.

Alexander had a great time hunting with a little help from Uncle Chris!

Ben showing me his loot!
Alexander tried to show me his but they were way down in the bag :(

Grace's bucket is pretty full...

Cora-Sioux sneaking some candy from one of her eggs!

I think this picture of Ben and Grace is great!

We added Alexander to the picture (Ben and Grace are pretending to eat their eggs:) )

Samantha Jane had to steady herself while she reached for an egg.

Too cute!!!
Matt and Allison's friends' little girl, Rileigh, worked hard to find her some eggs!!

Samantha Jane puts one away.

Something was very important and Samantha Jane wanted us to know about it!!

Grace sorting through her eggs.

Alexander couldn't stop talking about it (not even long enough for me to snap a picture!)

Matt's cousin Abi sneaking into someone else's basket :)

Ben showing off his goodies!!

Rileigh picking her prize from the prize basket.

Mimi stayed inside with Colin during the egg hunt.

Mimi and Grace admiring Colin:

We had a great time Saturday and hope it can be an annual event!!!

Easter Day and Easter Egg Hunt #2

Sunday we went to Chris' parents house for lunch and the second Easter egg hunt!
Christa and Grace loved entertaining Colin and Colin loves being entertained!

Samuel and Sydney were interested for a few minutes...

After the diaper change-

The kids opened their presents from Mimi and Paps before hunting for eggs.

Samuel loved his new shoes and couldn't wait to try them on! He wasn't too happy when mom told him it was too cold to wear sandals!!

Ben eating some TicTacs he got in his Easter "basket."

Grace was really excited about her new clothes, I told her to hold it up and this is what she did! So cute!!

Sydney wouldn't show me anything she got, she can be a little stubborn sometimes!

Alexander got one too but he opened it and put it all back up before I even knew what they were doing!!

Josh and his girlfriend hid the last of the eggs while the kids were opening their gifts.

All five kids trying to squeeze out the door at one time...

I made Ben and Grace stop for a picture, mean Aunt!!

And the hunt begins-

Alexander had some good practice the day before, he was a pro!

I love this picture of Sydney, too cute!!

Brian attacked Ben!

Samuel was the epitome of "slow and steady wins the race."

Another cute one of Sydney!

The race was on for the last egg...

Alexander being silly with the bucket on his head!

Samuels turn--

Ben found one of the prize eggs with a one dollar bill in it, he kept saying he had ten dollars though!
Samuel found one too...

Sydney didn't want to open her eggs or have anyone else help her open her eggs, remember that stubborn thing :)

In the end I think bubbles will always be these kids' favorite!!!

We had a great day eating and spending time with our family!
