Countdown to TN!

One week from tomorrow Brynne and I will be TN bound! I am starting to get excited, but I have a LOT of packing to do next week!!

We haven't really been up to much, so I thought I would post some random pictures from the past few weeks.

It's really hard to get pictures lately because as soon as I pull out the camera, Brynne comes running toward me! Exhibit A:

Exhibit B: Now anytime I want to get a picture I have to run across the room and try to snap it before she gets to me. If I can't get one then I run across the room again and try to snap it faster! There have been occasions where I have had to do that three times before getting a picture!

Yesterday I was rinsing out one of Brynne's diapers and I peeked into her room to find this, so I snuck by to grab my camera.

She LOVES books and will usually pick them over any of her toys!

Tonight we had meatballs for dinner and she devoured them! She ate an entire meatball that was about the size of a tennis ball, half a plateful of sweet potato cubes, a serving of green beans, and some of the rice from the meatballs! I don't know how she fit it all in her belly!! And she wanted more!

Well that's all for now, next week I plan on posting pictures of her room! I figured since she is 16 months old now that it was time to finally finish it, haha!

15 Month Stats

Brynne had her 15 month appointment today. I don't think I have ever seen a child more traumatized by having her measurements taken, than by getting shots!

She was 26 pounds even, 31.5 inches, and her head was 49 cm. Both the nurse and doctor think they got a bad measurement for her height and think she is probably at least 32 inches, but said it wasn't worth torturing her again. I measured her this afternoon and sure enough, she is 32 inches! Her head is in the 100th percentile, haha!

We have to fill out these silly questionnaires which are good in theory, but do have some ridiculous questions on them. He was very pleased with how she is doing overall, so that's always good to hear!

I can't seem to remember to get my camera out of the car, so these pictures are of Brynne modeling her new outfit from Granny from almost two weeks ago.

Here is Chris and I's new (to us) car! We are looking forward to the more spacious ride!

Wordless Wednesday

Minnesota SEA LIFE

Last Friday we went down to the Mall of America to go to the SEA LIFE aquarium! This was Brynne's first trip to the aquarium and she loved it! Although I think she enjoyed the freedom of walking all over a new place more than the actual fish!

I snapped this picture as we were leaving, I had to roll down the window quickly to get it as we were driving through the intersection!

They had a really awesome room with tons of jellyfish. They had 10ish round tanks that had color changing lights inside. It was hard to get pictures with no flash because they were moving so fast!

These were tiny! They were probably less than half the size of my pinky!

There was also a neat tunnel where you walk under the tank. I also have a video of this that I will post later. YouTube doesn't work on our laptop, so I have to use the other computer!

At the end you walked through a little rainforest area with frogs and crocodiles and probably some other things I didn't see!

Thank you Mimi for the trip to the aquarium and for dinner at Cracker Barrel afterwards! I look forward to taking Brynne again in the future!

Invaded!

We were invaded for almost three weeks by grandmas! Invaded in a good way of course :)

Brynne and I picked up Granny from the airport three weeks ago today and the spoiling began!

We didn't have time to give Brynne her Easter basket on Easter, so we decided to save it until Granny got here. Granny also had some bracelets for her.

She is really into sunglasses right now, so I knew she'd love a new pair!

Unfortunately while Granny was here Chris' heart got out of rhythm. I was so thankful she was here though and could keep Brynne while we went to the hospital! It would have been a loooong 5+ hours in the ER if Brynne had been with us! We also changed Granny's ticket so she could stay longer in case it happened again. I am glad she got to stay an extra couple of days, but not glad about the reason!

Sunday morning we took Granny to the airport. Before we left:

We dropped off Granny, then made it to church in time for services. Right after that we headed back to the airport to pick up Mimi!

Brynne and Mimi either doing itsy, bitsy spider or "hugging," I can't tell which one.

We had lots of fun playing at home and going outside a few times when the weather was nice. We also took a trip to the aquarium and Cracker Barrel! Pictures coming soon!

I am so glad both grandmothers were able to come and visit! No offense Mimi and Granny, but I don't think we'll let you come back to back anymore, haha! Brynne and I have spent the last two days catching up around the house and relaxing. Now we are ready for our trip to TN this summer!
