I weighed her on our scale today and she was about 22 pounds. I tried to measure her too, which was difficult, but I think she is around 28 inches.
I can't remember if I mentioned it last month, but she is now in a size 4 diaper! She is wearing mostly 12 month clothes, but one piece outfits do not fit her torso... She got that from me! There are a few 6-9 month things that I am making work since they were gifts, but I am definitely not buying any.
Last month I said I thought she would be crawling by the time I wrote this post. Well she is not officially crawling, but she can definitely get where she wants to go! She does a combination of trying to crawl, scooting on her butt, rolling, and leaning over and moving her butt 180 degrees, haha!
Funny, funny girl!!
I can't believe how much her hair has grown since we were in Tennessee! It's getting pretty thick on top.
It will now hold a bow... This is very important, haha!
This month (last weekend) she learned how to go from laying down to sitting up on her own! This one is pretty convenient for momma!! She is also trying to pull up and can pull up to her knees. Because of this, we finally had to lower the mattress in her crib.
This is her mischievious look :)
She can also stand up while holding onto something for a little bit, but she doesn't last long... 22 pounds is a lot to hold up!!
She still doesn't have any teeth, but as you can tell, she will chew on anything that comes close to her mouth, haha!
I wish I could get a picture or video of it, but she also learned how to clap. She has done the conventional palms together clapping a few times, but usually she does one hand on top of the other. It is so cute!
I just adjusted her schedule last week and she now eats every four hours instead of 3. She started not being as interested in nursing and was VERY easily distracted! She would only last a couple of minutes before she was done. Now on the four hour schedule, she is back on track!
It has been a great month and I am looking forward to what the 9th month holds!
